The Amazing Colossal Man (1957)

Lt. Col. Glenn Manning is inadvertently exposed to a plutonium bomb blast at Camp Desert Rock. Though burned over 90% of his body, he miraculously survives and begins to grow at an uncontrollable rate. As Manning becomes a giant, his heart and circulatory system fail to keep pace, causing a reduced blood supply to his brain and resulting in a gradual descent into madness. He ultimately reaches 50 feet in height before his growth is stopped. Driven insane, Manning escapes and wreaks havoc upon Las Vegas before he is finally confronted and stopped.
