Streets of Laredo (1949)
Set in Texas in 1878, 'Streets of Laredo' follows cheerful outlaw friends Jim, Lorn, and Wahoo, who rescue the spirited orphan Rannie Carter from cattle rustlers. The group is soon separated, with Lorn embarking on a career of more serious robberies while Jim and Wahoo reluctantly join the Texas Rangers. As the friends try to avoid direct conflict for the sake of their friendship, an inevitable showdown draws near. Meanwhile, Rannie grows into a young woman and finds herself caught between Lorn and Jim.
