Dead Man's Eyes (1944)

An artist, David 'Dave' Stuart (Lon Chaney Jr.), is blinded by his jealous assistant and model. His fiancée's father generously offers to donate his eyes for a sight-restoring operation, but there's a catch: Dave must wait until after the man's death. When the benefactor dies unexpectedly and prematurely, suspicion immediately falls on the artist.
